Hamill, who is legally deaf, required a sign langue instructor during the Ultimate Fighter show to let him know what the coaches were trying to teach. The two got into a heated exchange during one training session when the whistle blew for stoppage of action, which Hamill was obviously not able to hear, and Hamill kept fighting.

This was just one of many incidents that created a lot of animosity between the two during the show, and it has only snowballed since the show concluded. Hamill initiated everything when he was spreading the word on what would have happened if he faced Bisping in the Finale.

“He was just saying he's going to go around and show the world who the real Ultimate Fighter is and that I got lucky, “stated an irritated Bisping. “I know for a fact he was telling people that I was scared italians learn and things like that. It's just ridiculous. The guy is acting like a baby. He's stumped his feet long enough that he's got the fight that he wants. Well, that's fine, he can have the fight (laughs) and he can get knocked out.”

Soon after Hamill started popping off, Bisping posted a blog on UFC.com stating what he thought about Hamill and his motives for re-starting a beef that he thought was dead.

“I feel he's in his spot for the wrong reasons. I think he's a bully. He has no respect for the people around him or his training partners -- he certainly didn't learn italian dvd Ultimate Fighter,” explained Bisping. “I've met people since that know him and they haven't got particularly good things to say about him. And some people don't just get along. Not everyone in the world is going to like each other.”

Hamill comes from a decorated wrestling background, while Bisping has a solid all-around game. It was crystal clear to Bisping on Hamill’s motives for the fight.

“I don't think there's any prizes for guessing his game plan, which is going to be to take me down,” The Count said. “To be honest, the only way I can see him winning if learn italian accent to take me down at will and control me that way and win on a decision. That said, my takedown defense these days -- if I say so myself -- is real good. I've trained with a lot of wrestlers, and they can't take me down. That's what I've been working on for the past two years, solid.”

Realizing that Hamill’s superior wrestling skills may ultimately provide some advantage during the fight, Bisping didn’t seem too worried about being taken down.

“I can't see him ground and pounding me much, to be honest, and I doubt he's going to submit me,” Bisping said. “ I hope he has been working on his striking and has more of a traditional style about him because it will make my job easier.“

Although Bisping can’t wait to pound away on his opponent, this is MMA, and in tradition of the sport, he gave credit where credit was due.
